Managing CF and the enormous treatment burden it brings can be expensive. We support people with cystic fibrosis and their families every step of the way by providing a number of different grants, support with applying for benefits and information about prescription charges. In this section we also provide information about other possible options that may help to ease the financial burden of CF, including how to increase your income, health care benefits, reducing water rates and help with travel costs.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust support
We provide a range of welfare grants to help in times of financial need. These include grants for emergencies, transplant assessment, health and wellbeing, holidays and breaks, home care, education and funerals.
We offer support for applying for benefits like Personal Independent Payment, Disability Living Allowance and Universal Credit. Find out more about the benefits support we can provide.

Maximising your income is about getting extra income from available sources, and making your money go further by finding savings where possible.
Our Income Maximisation Service can support you to access our benefits advice, as well as check you are getting all the financial assistance you are entitled, and help you to make the most out of your money.
It is a good idea to think about how to maximise your income if you are just about managing, or struggling with debt. However, whatever your financial situation, securing additional income or identifying savings can really improve your quality of life.
